Inc. isn’t slowing its pace of fulfillment center construction as it expands its physical footprint.

Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) stores, sorts and ships products ranging from furniture to fresh produce out of its warehouse network, which employs tens of thousands of people but is becoming increasingly robotized. Amazon said it had more than 80,000 robots as of mid-May, up from 45,000 in December and 30,000 at the end of 2015.
