The Menil Collection announced this week that the Menil Drawing Institute won’t open on Oct. 7 as originally planned.

A new opening date has yet to be set, and the museum said it would be announced at a later date. Previously announced special exhibitions — featuring drawings by Jasper Johns, Brice Marden and Roni Horn — are being resequenced so they can be presented in full.
